Anyway, I've been away for a long time - since uni started really (almost three years ago), studying a course which sucks the life out of me (strange because having a tertiary education is meant to GIVE you a life! That is, of course if career = life, but I'd dispute that point- afterall, Jesus said that He came so that we could have LIFE to the full)
Well, I thought I might drop by and say hi, then scurry back into my corner so I can continue reading some FAAAAT textbook on indefeasibility, perpetuities and restrictive covenants- if you don't understand what I just said, don't worry, because I don't either.
In terms of life after death (ie, after exams), I plan to have a creative explosion (having been bottled up for the past forever) and I also plan to visit Cambodia to teach English- so I can feel good about myself and be fulfilled because I've done something worthwhile with my life- JUST KIDDING, for me I'm searching for an experience that will open up my eyes, to see another world outside my Australian bubble where not everything is rosey and hunky dory- where the poor and disadvantaged and the effects of human selfishness will be in my face, I guess it'll help me see the world for what it is
Scurry scurry I will
to that dank and musty corner
where maggots and hairy balls await
and the hope of light
seems all the sweeter
